Linear vibrating screen (also known as linear screen) is a kind of high-efficiency screening equipment, which is widely used in mining, coal, smelting, building materials, refractory materials, light industry, chemical industry and other industries. The structure is relatively simple, mainly composed of screen box, screen frame, screen mesh, vibration motor, motor base, vibration damping spring and bracket. The installation method of the vibration motor can be designed and installed according to the user’s requirements, site layout and materials, and there are two ways to install it.
The vibrating motor is installed at the bottom of the linear vibrating screen, which is a common method for installing the vibrating motor of the linear vibrating screen. It is generally recommended that customers choose such an installation method, which is reliable and space-saving. If the width of the customer’s site is limited, in addition to the linear screen equipment, there should be a certain width on both sides of the linear screen to facilitate operations such as feeding and maintenance. If the device is too wide, it will not fit and it will be inconvenient to use later. Of course, this problem can also be solved by reducing the overall width of the screen frame of the linear screen, but this will lead to a reduction in the shielding area of the equipment, resulting in a smaller throughput, which affects the screening efficiency and production schedule, so vibration motors can be selected mounted on the bottom of the device.
Secondly, the vibration motor is installed on both sides of the linear screen, and this installation method is also the method used for the vibration motor of the linear vibrating screen equipment. Typically, customers have restrictions on the overall height of the device, but no restrictions on the width of the device. For example, due to the special requirements of some materials, the discharge port of the equipment cannot be too high. If the vibration motor is also mounted on the bottom of the linear screen, it will not give good control over the overall height of the device. The screen box height of a linear screen is usually fixed, so the height of the screen box cannot be adjusted. Then the vibration motor can be installed on the sides of the linear screen instead of the bottom of the device, which can greatly reduce the device. The overall height meets the customer’s requirements for the overall height of the linear screen without affecting the working efficiency of the device.
